Water, sewer, & trash service - $150 refundable deposit.
Whether new construction or account, an accessible and functioning main shut off valve is required.
Water - $17 for first 1,000 gallons and $3.25 for each additional section of 1,000 gallons.
Sewer - $25.
Payments due by the 15th of each month.
Late Fee - $10 if paid after the 15th.
Return Check Fee - $50.
Disconnection - 23rd of each month.
Reconnect Fee - $50.
Trash pickup is Tuesdays, and the can must be placed on the curbside.
Trash receptacles can be placed 18 hours prior to pick up and removed from the curbside within 18 hours after pick up.
Trash services do not include tires, batteries, paint containers, major appliances, or any flammable chemicals.
Business Licenses - $20 per year.
Building Permits are required for installing or replacing fencing, sheds, buildings, or building additions. A building permit can be obtained at City Hall 110 East Pine Street.
Dog Tags are $5 per dog each year with current vaccination papers due by 01 June of each year. When impounded, a dog can be redeemed after proof of vaccination and tags as well as a $20 fee.
Lawns should not exceed 12 inches in height and must be maintained to the edge of the street including ditches and half of an alleyway if applicable.
Culverts should have leaves and debris cleaned out routinely for proper drainage.
Old tires, inoperable, or unlicensed vehicles must be stored inside a garage or behind a six (6) foot solid fence or removed from the premises.
Parking on grass, lawns, or sidewalk is not permitted.
