Our Community Center is located at 107 N. Main Street. It can be rented for birthdays, garage sales, graduations, baby showers, etc.
The cost is $35 per day with a $50 refundable cleaning deposit.

City Parks
There are two (2) city parks.
Southern Park located on Pleasant Green Road.
Northern Park located at N. Main St. & Pacific St.
At the northern park please be mindful of the Fire Department.
La Monte Storm Shelter
Location - 300 W. Front St.
The shelter capacity is for 1,000 people. It is unlocked during a tornado watch. No pets, smoking, firearms, or alcohol will be permitted. Please bring your own lawn chairs, blankets, and small comfort items.
Scrap Metal Program
The City of La Monte will be implementing a new opportunity for residents to dispose of scrap metal (primarily washers, dryers, & hot water heaters). After contacting City Hall at (660) 347-5606, place approved scrap metal items on the curb for pickup.
New Sidewalk Project
The sidewalk project is in the engineering phase.
Location: The sidewalk will run from S. Washington Street at the school to S. Main Street on the north side of E. Mason.
From S. Main Street the sidewalk will go to S. Walnut Street but on the south side of W. Mason.
